Modernization renovations have been implemented in current dissection labs. Firstly, many immersion-type dissection tables have been replaced with refrigeration tables; secondly, specimen perfusion and fixation now use mixed eco-friendly fixatives, virtually eliminating formaldehyde odors; thirdly, lab lighting and ventilation systems have been upgraded to surgical room standards, installing shadowless lamps and negative pressure ventilation equipment; fourthly, digital dissection equipment has been installed, such as virtual 3D dissection software.

The surgical-environment standardization and humanization of dissection labs, along with the digitalization and informatization of equipment, will be key development directions for the foreseeable future.
