Kashgar, located at the westernmost frontier of the motherland, is a key transportation hub along the Belt and Road and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Kashgar University is situated in the historic and culturally renowned city of Kashgar, a top-tier tourist destination in China, known as the "Gateway to Five Ports and Eight Countries, Connecting Eurasia." It is the westernmost university in China with a long history, comprehensive disciplines, and distinctive modern applied education.
In 2022, Kashgar University established its Medical College and began its first enrollment. Derren Technology actively responded to the Belt and Road Initiative, participating in the construction of medical laboratories in China's western frontier. The company's founder and chairman personally served as the project manager, leading the team to conduct multiple on-site surveys and measurements, presenting proposals to school leaders and department heads, and engaging in repeated discussions, communications, and revisions before final approval.
Despite pandemic-related delays that halted the project twice for over two months, the support of school leaders, departments, and enthusiastic teachers, along with the tireless efforts of Derren staff, ensured the timely and high-quality completion of the medical college's foundational laboratories, which were successfully handed over for use.
