From November 16-20, 2023, the opening ceremony of the second phase of the Li Changyin Forensic Science Museum and the 4th International Judicial Police Forensic Science Education and Culture Conference were successfully held in Rugao, Jiangsu!

01Opening Ceremony

      On the morning of the 17th, over 300 leaders and experts in forensic science and criminal justice from more than 20 countries and regions participated in the event. Internationally renowned forensic identification expert, founder of the Li Changyin Forensic Science Research Center, the Chinese Sherlock Holmes, and the modern version of Sherlock Holmes (one of the Three Swordsmen), Dr. Li Changyin, Academician Yang Huanming of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Vice Chairman of the Supreme People's Court's Advisory Committee, President of the Case Law Research Society of the China Law Society Hu Yunteng, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of Jiangsu Province and Director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office Xu Kaixin, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Jiangsu Overseas Chinese Federation Liu Biao, Standing Committee Member and Minister of the United Front Work Department of Nantong Municipal Committee Wang Xiaohong, as well as He Yijun, Si Zhujian, Zhang Yuanjian, Ding Xinghua Deng, and leaders from the four sets of leadership teams in Rugao City attended the event. Mr. Zhong Haizhou, founder and chairman of our company, was also invited to attend.

        In his speech, Dr. Li Changyin stated that the Li Changyin Forensic Science Museum is a platform to showcase Rugao's hardworking development and peaceful living to the world, as well as a bridge connecting Rugao to the world. The successful construction of the museum is inseparable from the efforts of many people. It does not belong to any individual but is a shared treasure for everyone. He hopes that the advanced forensic science technology will combine with Rugao's long and splendid history and culture to create beautiful sparks and write a glorious chapter in Rugao's development journey.

02Ribbon-cutting and Tour

       Leaders and distinguished guests jointly cut the ribbon for the opening of the second phase of the Li Changyin Forensic Science Museum and then toured the newly completed museum.

      The second phase of the Li Changyin Forensic Science Museum is located west of the first phase, covering an area of 10.29 acres with a total construction area of 8,400 square meters. The upgrading projects for the first and second phases were implemented simultaneously and opened to the public in November 2023.Chairman Zhong Haizhou was invited to attend the opening ceremony and toured the museum.

03Conference Opening

     In the afternoon of the 17th, the 4th International Judicial Police Forensic Science Education and Culture Conference officially began. Dr. Li Changyin delivered a speech and presented the conference keynote report!

04Zhong Haizhou's Conference Report

     Derentech has cooperated with multiple forensic institutions in Germany and China and jointly established an integrated demonstration base for forensic medicine production, education, and research with Beijing Gongda Hongzheng Medical Research Institute. The cooperation has been fully recognized and affirmed by renowned forensic medicine experts in China, including Professor Zhang Huirong from the Chinese People's Public Security University. Zhong Haizhou presented a report on the forensic medicine production, education, and research project "Design and Construction of a New Modern Forensic Medicine Laboratory" at the conference, which received high attention and evaluation from participating leaders and experts.
