From August 23 to 26, 2023, the Inaugural Meeting of the National Higher Education Sports Biomedical Experimental Training Education Alliance and the First Symposium on Experimental Teaching in Sports Biomedicine were successfully held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. The event was hosted by the National Higher Education Sports Biomedical Experimental Training Education Alliance, and co-organized by North University of China, Taiyuan University of Technology, and Shanxi Normal University, with Chengdu Taimeng Software Co., Ltd. and Zhangjiagang Deren Science and Education Instrument Equipment Co., Ltd. as co-organizers .

More than 150 leaders, experts, teachers, and representatives from over 70 universities and related enterprises across China attended the conference. Deren Education was invited to attend the inaugural ceremony. Professor Cai Jianghui, Vice President of North University of China , attended the opening ceremony and delivered a welcome speech. Professor Dong Weiren, head of the Basic Medical Sciences Group of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Higher Education and professor at the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Southern Medical University, announced the official establishment of the "Sports Life Alliance." Zhou Yongyi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Demonstration Center Joint Conference, delivered a speech. Zhong Haijiao, founder and chairman of Deren Education, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote report. The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Wu Jian, Dean of the School of Physical Education, North University of China.

 Professor Liu Hongyu of the School of Physical Education at North University of China was elected as the first chairman of the "Higher Education Alliance for Experimental Training in Sports Biomedicine" at the inaugural ceremony. During the conference, the alliance's first council meeting was also held, electing the chairman, vice-chairmen, standing council members, and council members. At the inaugural meeting, Professor Liu Hongyu stated that the alliance will actively organize member units to carry out various activities, including practical teaching seminars, experimental technology research, professional skills competitions, standardized laboratory construction, and university-enterprise cooperation. Simultaneously, it will conduct exchanges and cooperation with renowned universities at home and abroad, vigorously promote the integration of sports, health education, and rehabilitation disciplines, and make unremitting efforts to cultivate application-oriented talents for the new era.

The Higher Education Sports Biomedical Laboratory Training Education Alliance aims to respond to the call of the national "14th Five-Year Plan" and the 2035 vision to "build a high-quality education system," continuously promote the integrated development of new medical sciences, new liberal arts, and new engineering, implement the Healthy China 2035 Plan and the education policy of promoting moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education, and promote the construction of biomedical-related experimental courses, laboratory construction, and the development of students' experimental skills in sports majors of various colleges and universities.

During the conference, experts from 16 institutions, including the Smart Sports Innovation Research Center of the State General Administration of Sport, Southern Medical University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tsinghua University, South China Normal University, North University of China, and Deren Education, delivered excellent reports on topics such as the new concept of proactive health, the cultivation of innovative talents in Chinese higher education in the new era, recommendations for youth sports, microscopic body fluid circulation, and laboratory construction. Their presentations were highly praised by the participating experts, scholars, and representatives.

This event provided a platform for exchange on the development of experimental training in sports biomedicine in universities nationwide, the improvement of experimental teaching quality, and the cultivation of professionals in experimental technology. It will also play an important role in promoting the construction of sports biomedicine laboratories in universities.
