Warmest congratulations on the completion and commissioning of the Air Force Medical University's nationally and military-wide benchmark and exemplary digital virtual anatomy laboratory!

On the afternoon of May 10th, a site observation meeting was held at the Air Force Medical University for the national and military benchmark and demonstration digital virtual anatomy laboratory project, independently designed and constructed by Zhangjiagang Deren Science and Education Instrument Equipment Co., Ltd. (Deren Science and Education). Attendees included Professor Ding Wenlong, Supervisor of the Chinese Anatomical Society and Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University; Professor Ouyang Jun, Vice President of the Chinese Anatomical Society and Professor at Southern Medical University; Professor Liu Hongyu, Chairman of the Sports Anatomy Branch of the Chinese Anatomical Society and Professor at North China University of Technology; Professor Li Hui, Director of the Department of Anatomy at the Air Force Medical University; Professor Chen Tao, Deputy Director; Professor Li Jinlian, expert; Mr. Zhong Haijiao, Chairman of Deren Science and Education; and Ms. Teng Yue, Marketing and Sales Director.

Before the observation meeting, the relevant leaders and experts attending the meeting paid tribute to the statue of Professor Li Jishuo and took photos in front of the anatomy teaching building of the Air Force Medical University.

I. Project Overview

1. This benchmark and exemplary project, from design, construction, installation, commissioning, and acceptance, took more than 50 days. Its contents include the completion of basic facilities, hardware equipment, and software systems; its functions include online and offline operation, theoretical teaching, experimental teaching, exam creation, micro-lecture recording, mobile APP, and digital dissection table; its hardware includes a smart nano blackboard, a 98-inch 4K high-definition touch screen, an 86-inch 4K high-definition touch screen, a digital high-definition 4K virtual dissection table, integrated micro-lecture recording equipment, teacher-side computers and a central control system, and student-side computers.

2. This benchmark and exemplary project includes multiple professional software system functions for human anatomy: 3D human anatomy teaching, VR interactive human anatomy teaching, partial anatomy teaching using human specimens, human anatomy question generation and examination, recording and broadcasting of micro-lectures on human anatomy, online mobile learning of 3D human anatomy, teaching on a high-definition virtual digital anatomy table, and a virtual digital anatomy laboratory cultural wall, etc.

3. This benchmark and exemplary project integrates teaching and learning, teaching and testing, learning and testing, lesson preparation and classroom teaching, and teacher classroom teaching and student self-study. It has created a multifunctional, multi-module, open, and professional library-type smart digital virtual laboratory that integrates single teaching content with multiple teaching content functions.

4. At the site visit, experts exchanged views on the project's hardware and software aspects, design concepts, functions, content, manufacturing processes, and product quality. They fully affirmed the overall project and its professional development. Furthermore, they offered constructive suggestions on details such as continuous improvement and refinement of the design and processes for future related projects.
