On the morning of April 1, 2024, the 9th Representative Assembly of the Zhangjiagang Science and Technology Association was grandly inaugurated. Municipal Party Secretary Han Wei attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Gu Zhihua, Party Group Member and Vice Chairman of the Suzhou Science and Technology Association, attended the ceremony to offer congratulations. Leaders of Zhangjiagang City, including Cai Jianfeng, Shao Junmin, Wang Yafang, and Zhao Jianming, attended the opening ceremony. Mr. Zhong Haizhen, founder and chairman of our company, participated in the meeting and was elected as a member of the 9th Representative Assembly of the Zhangjiagang Science and Technology Association.

At the meeting, Han Wei, representing the municipal leadership, extended warm congratulations on the convening of the assembly, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Suzhou Science and Technology Association for its care and support for Zhangjiagang, and extended sincere greetings to the city's vast number of scientific and technological workers.

Municipal Party Secretary Han Wei emphasized the need to unite more closely around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, thoroughly implement the decisions and deployments of higher authorities, vigorously promote the Zhangjiagang spirit, strive to create a new era for the city's scientific and technological endeavors and the work of the Science and Technology Association, and make greater contributions to accelerating the construction of a "strong, prosperous, beautiful, and advanced" modern new Jiangsu in Zhangjiagang.

Gu Zhihua, Vice Chairman of the Suzhou Science and Technology Association, extended warm congratulations on behalf of the Suzhou Science and Technology Association. He hoped that the Zhangjiagang Science and Technology Association and the city's vast number of scientific and technological workers would continue to inherit and promote the Zhangjiagang spirit, gather scientific and technological talents, enhance leadership and service capabilities, serve innovation and development, expand resource integration platforms, improve organizational vitality, strengthen the exemplary construction of scientific and technological groups, and with a high level of political awareness and a strong sense of historical mission, stand firm in the new era, adapt to the new situation, meet new requirements, achieve new accomplishments, and jointly write a new chapter in the high-quality development of Zhangjiagang.

Dai Yan, Chairman of the Zhangjiagang Science and Technology Association, delivered a work report titled "Gathering Scientific and Technological Strength, Shouldering the Responsibilities of the Science and Technology Association, and Demonstrating New Achievements in Promoting the High-Quality Development of the City" at the assembly.

The theme of this assembly is: Hold high the great banner of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party and the Second Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, and the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the work of Jiangsu and Suzhou, comprehensively summarize the five-year work since the 8th Representative Assembly of the Municipal Science and Technology Association, objectively analyze the new situation and new problems currently faced, study and deploy the goals and tasks for the next five years, unite and lead the city's vast number of scientific and technological workers to advance with the times, promote the Zhangjiagang spirit, accelerate the development of new productive forces, contribute to the practice of building a "strong, prosperous, beautiful, and advanced" modern new Jiangsu in Zhangjiagang, and strive to create a pioneering area of Chinese-style modernization where material and spiritual civilizations are coordinated, contributing wisdom and effort.

Science and technology shoulder heavy responsibilities, and innovation achieves the future. Standing at a new starting point, all levels of the city's science and technology organizations and the vast number of scientific and technological workers must uphold a high sense of mission, honor, and responsibility, and face the arduous and complex tasks. We must hold high the great banner of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and under the strong leadership of the municipal party committee and government and the effective guidance of the Suzhou Science and Technology Association, unite in virtue, focus our efforts, uphold integrity and innovation, serve development, accelerate the development of new productive forces, and contribute the strength of the Science and Technology Association to create a pioneering area of Chinese-style modernization where material and spiritual civilizations are coordinated!

After a day of meetings, the assembly, through democratic election and voting, elected Comrade Dai Yan as the chairman of the 9th Committee of the Municipal Science and Technology Association, Tao Xiaofeng, Wan Mingxia, Lai Ping, Li Gang, Qiang Sheng, Nie Ying, Shi Yixin as vice chairmen of the 9th Committee of the Municipal Science and Technology Association, and Wang Yuanji and 31 others as standing committee members of the 9th Committee of the Municipal Science and Technology Association, Ma Ren and100 representatives were elected as members of the 9th Committee of the Municipal Science and Technology Association.

Finally, the closing ceremony of the assembly was held. Municipal leaders Li Xinglong and Jiang Hui attended the closing ceremony. Li Xinglong delivered a speech at the closing ceremony, emphasizing the need to further consolidate ideological consensus, promote innovation and development, enhance scientific literacy, and take new steps in self-construction to achieve new accomplishments. Zhong Haizhen Honored as the Third

Most Beautiful Scientific and Technological Worker of Zhangjiagang City

To thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party and the important expositions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on high-level self-reliance and self-strengthening in science and technology, implement the city's "Pioneer Year for Modernization Construction" work requirements, actively practice the "Four Dares" spirit, and inspire the sense of honor, pride, and responsibility of the city's vast number of scientific and technological workers, the Municipal Civilization Office, Science and Technology Bureau, and Science and Technology Association organized the third "Most Beautiful Scientific and Technological Worker" learning and publicity campaign in Zhangjiagang City.
