July 14-17, hosted by the Chinese Society of Anatomy, the Human Anatomy and Digital Anatomy Branch organized by Chongqing Medical University, Chongqing Society of Anatomy, and Chongqing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the 2023 National Human Anatomy Course Ideological and Political Construction Seminar and the National Human Anatomy Directors and Teachers Forum on Laboratory Construction Thematic Conference was successfully held at Chongqing Medical University!Over 160 leaders, experts, and teacher representatives from major medical colleges and universities across the country attended this conference.

At the opening ceremony, Vice President Deng Shixiong of Chongqing Medical University delivered a welcome speech. The conference featured three main themes: first, ideological and political reports and laboratory construction thematic reports on the morning of the 15th; second, ideological and political course video reviews on the afternoon of the 15th; third, ideological and political party-building inspection activities (Journey of Virtue) on the 16th.

On the morning of the 16th, participants visited the anatomy laboratory of Chongqing Medical University and the digital anatomy laboratory, human anatomy laboratory, clinical anatomy laboratory, farewell hall, and environmental specimen library designed and constructed by Deren Science and Education at Chongqing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In the afternoon, they visited the red revolutionary education base for ideological and political practice education activities.
